Advisory Committee
Guardian Angels Faith Formation Advisory Committee is looking for additional members! Don’t let the name fool you, this committee does so much more than simply advise the Faith Formation Director. Having children in one of the programs is also not a requirement – all members of Guardian Angels have a role in Faith Formation. The Faith Formation Advisory Committee’s goal is to provide the Director of Faith Formation with necessary information to make decisions for the good of Guardian Angels Church.
This committee develops program policies and goals, evaluating and assessing existing programs, promoting Faith Formation programs, aiding in budget assessments of the department, assisting and supporting the Director of Faith Formation. Members of the advisory board will represent specific areas of Faith Formation, for example someone with children in the sacrament program, someone with children in the Wednesday Evening Program, someone who has no children in either program, etc.
The commitment for this committee is three years. The FFAC meets every other month on the First Monday of the month. All are welcome to join our meetings! There is a place for everyone who is interested in helping make our program a success for our parishioners. You also do not need to have a teaching background to be involved. All you need is a love of our faith and a desire to share it with others!
