Mary & Clarence Keaveny
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2012, 10:30 AM at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 218 W. 2nd St., Chaska, with Father Paul Jarvis celebrating. Visitation will be Monday, January 23, 2012, 4-7 PM at the Bertas Funeral Home, 200 W. 3rd St., Chaska, with opening prayer at 4 PM with Father Doug Ebert and Rosary service at 7 PM. Visitation will also be one hour prior to mass at the church. Burial will be at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis.
Mary “Boomer” Ann (Lynch) Keaveny
age 63, of Chaska, MN, died Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at her home along with her husband, Clarence.
Mary was born September 8, 1948 in Minneapolis, MN, to Thomas and Marian (Putman) Lynch, one of five children. She graduated from West High School in Minneapolis. She married Clarence Keaveny at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Chaska. She was a very faithful member and volunteer at Guardian Angels Catholic Church for many years. She has been a resident of Chaska for 25 years and had been employed at Hennepin County as a Senior CommunityHealth worker for over 30 years. She enjoyed sports, her family, and their dog Hunder.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Marian Lynch, husband, Clarence, infant twin boys, Anthony and Timothy.
Survivors include daughters, Jane (Jeffrey) Newbauer, Melissa (Darrin) Reiter, Christina Keaveny; grandson, Jameson Newbauer; siblings, Thomas (Julie) Lynch, John (Donna) Lynch, Patricia Lynch, Elizabeth (Scott) Anderson; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Clarence Michael Keaveny
age 68, of Chaska, MN, died Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at his home along with his wife Mary.
Clarence was born September 8, 1944 in Langdon, North Dakota to Charles and Amelia (Schneider) Keaveny, one of eight children. He graduated from Langdon High School, in Langdon, ND. Clarence married Mary Lynch at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Chaska. He had worked at Fannie Farmer Candy prior to being a forklift driver at Atlas Cold Storage for a number of years. He was a member of Guardian Angels Catholic Church. He loved woodworking, building birdhouses, all sports especially hockey, and spending time with family and their dog Hunder.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Amelia Keaveny, wife, Mary, brother, William.
Survivors include his daughters, Melissa (Darrin) Reiter, Christina Keaveny, Jane (Jeffrey) Newbauer; grandson, Jameson; siblings, Robert (Jeanette) Keaveny, Helen (Robert) Ladarre, Mary (Ed) Iverslie, Patrick (Maureen) Keaveny, Dale Keaveny, Richard Keaveny; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
