Hello everyone,                   November 18th, 2011 I handed out the next spelling packet and told the class they weren't due for two weeks and then we realized that it would be Dec.  One student wondered where November went.  I agree, the end of the first trimester is Dec. 2nd. We have been working hard. The class had a surprise visit today from my daughter and granddaughter.  What fun. Please ask your child how many AR points they have.  We have a few who have reached their goal for the school year.   At the end of the tri. they need 13.5 points.  Enjoy your time next week with family and friends.  Happy Thanksgiving to you.  I am thankful and grateful for you all. Homework for Week of xx/xx/xx

November journals due the 30th. November book reports due November 30th Spelling sentences increase to 6 instead of 5, and they still contain 6 or more words per sentence. Journal entries have increased to 5 sentences per day not 4, starting in Dec. they will be 6 sentences per day and they too need 6 or more words per sentence.
