Middle School Service Club
Thank
you for all the help wrapping and stuffing Operation Christmas Child
Shoeboxes--we packed and shipped 27 boxes out last week!
This
is a busy time for Service Club--All Middle School students are invited
to participate in any of these events. See the events listed below and
watch for a separate handout coming early this week to sign-up for
shifts and activities.
Sunday,
December 4th--Dad’s Belgian Waffle Breakfast in School Gym being hosted
by the Knights of Columbus--looking for some Middle School helpers to
bus the tables. Proceeds are going to benefit GA School.
8:00-12:00--two possible shifts 8-10, 10-12.
Saturday,
December 10th--Getting Ready for Christmas Party for children ages
4-4th grade. We will need lots of students to help work craft stations,
organize Christmas Bingo, wrap presents, and much more for this event.
8:30-11:30 a.m. (includes set-up and clean-up time)
Thursday,
December 15th--Senior Luncheon before Christmas Program Dress Rehearsal
in SFH. All students who bring in food items for this event, will be
scheduled to work a shift at the luncheon. (Separate form coming home
this week to volunteer to bring in a food item)

Trimester
1 ends on Friday, December 2nd--make sure to take those final AR tests
and turn in any late/missing work you may have. Teachers will be here
on Monday, December 5th to finalize and mail report cards. Any student
achieving honor roll and their family will be invited to a breakfast
hosted by the Middle School Staff on Tuesday, December 20th at 8:30 a.m.
in the school gym. Hope to see you there!
New schedules will be issued to students on Tuesday, December 6th.

The middle school will lead the school in an Advent Prayer Service on Tuesday, December 6th at 9:20 a.m. in the gym.
We will also be participating in a 3-8 grade Penance Service on Thursday, Dec 1 at 1:00pm.
