Home School Faith Formation

Dear Guardian Angels Faith Formation Home School Families:

I wanted to take a moment to remind you of the Guardian Angels Home School Policies.  Home schooling is not an option for sacramental preparation classes.  It is also not available for ninth or tenth grade Faith Formation classes.
  1. Home School families will be registered in the Faith Formation program.
  2. Home School families will receive student books from Guardian Angels.
  3. Home School families will submit monthly journals notifying the Faith Formation Director of the progress they are making with the Faith  Formation curriculum.  These forms will be available with your book at the September meeting.
  4. Home School families should attend Faith Formation Family events including but not limited to:  all family First Session, Advent evening reconciliation service, Ash Wednesday Mass and Lent reconciliation service.
  5. Home School families will be expected to attend age/grade appropriate parent student sessions offered throughout the year.
If we have non compliance of these policies, your family will not be able to continue in our Home School Program.  Thank you for respecting these policies.

I will have your student books as well as your monthly journal forms available for you at our all family First Session on Wednesday, September 22, 2010.  You will also receive a complete calendar for the year.

Being a Home School family does not mean you are not a member of the Faith Formation Community.  We are all ONE parish community and will continue to be just that.  I look forward to working with you and your family during the upcoming school year.
