Instruments accompany our singing at many Masses. In the last few years, violins, clarinets, flutes, guitars, drums, cellos, trumpets and violas have joined us in the choir loft. We would love to have an oboe and a bass guitarist. Players do most of their preparation on their own. Occasionally we have special instrumental rehearsals, and sometimes the instruments just join us for our final rehearsal for Mass.
The goal is: Give glory to God; Add variety to intensify the purpose of the liturgy
