Guardian Angels Kindergarten Information

The Kindergarten program at Guardian Angels offers a unique learning experience to our students.  We have a full-day program, 5 days of the week.  This allows our teachers to expand learning opportunities in each subject area, which is not possible in half-day programs and programs that do not meet every day.  Our core curriculum includes religion, reading (both phonics and whole language), math, social studies, science, handwriting, as well as classes in our computer lab and theme-based activities.  Students also attend physical education classes, music, Spanish, and library each week.  We report on student progress thorough quarterly progress reports as well as through parent-teacher conferences scheduled throughout the year.  Our kindergartners leave our program well-prepared for the academic and social experiences waiting for them in 1st Grade!
