Loaves and Fishes Ministry
The purpose of Loaves and Fishes is to prepare and serve meals to people n need in Minneapolis in concert with other area parishes, church groups, and volunteers. The Ministry is responsible for ordering, transporting, preparing, and serving food to 160 + people, many of whom are children, the fifth Thursday of the month, which is typically three times per year.
The participation: The loaves and Fishes Ministry does not hold meetings and does not have formal members. They are dependent upon volunteers from the parish to provide the resources necessary to fulfill our parish commitments. They require approximately 24 people for each meal service.
