5th Grade Parents
Welcome to your first MS newsletter! We are excited to get to know you and your children in the upcoming school years!
6th Grade Change
Next year, we will be attending a new camp. Instead of going to Camp St. Croix, we will be attending Long Lake Environmental Camp in Palisade, MN. Also, instead of going during February, we will be going in November so information will be coming home very early in the 2008-2009 school year. If you have questions, contact Mrs. Miller
Homeroom Change
Students will be notified about homeroom assignments in their August letters. Due to additional students over the summer, it may be necessary to switch people around, so we decided to wait until lists are finalized.
MISSING: SPORTS UNIFORMS!!!
If you have a jersey at home, please turn it in to Mr. Epperly as soon as possible!
Field Day
The MS Field Day is Monday, June 2. According to the weather forecast, it looks like it may be rainy. Field Day, however, will still be ON!!! Mr. Epperly is in the process of planning activities in case we are not able to go to Schimelphenig Park. Remember to pack a bag lunch! Field Day is out of uniform and the teachers will notify students about the colors they need to wear (either white or blue).
7th Grade – Bring bag lunch tomorrow for helping at the K-4 field day!
Yearbooks
Yearbooks will be handed out tomorrow. Students will have time to sign each others yearbooks during the school day.
NWEA Algebra Testing
The NWEA Algebra End of Year test was taken by the 8th graders today. Scores were very strong and showed great growth in skills.
8th Grade
This is your final MS letter from Guardian Angels! We appreciate your subscription and thank you for giving us the opportunity to work with your children! It has been our pleasure as we were able to watch them grow and develop into fine young students! May God Bless you on your journeys and watch over each of your children as they move on to high school! |
