Hi Everyone!


    This will be the last letter of the year.  We have finished up our last story in reading this week.  Next week we will be reading other stories, doing some projects that go along with them, and  working on some other language skills.  Don't get too worried for you child, though, we only have 2 work days (no school on Monday, field trip on Thursday, and field day on Friday!) In math we are working on measuring: inches, centimeters, pounds and grams. I just can't believe that we are this far in the year!

    Next Thursday for their field trip, they will need a bag lunch (preferably plastic--like a Target bag--marked with their names and tied shut at the top. Put their beverage right in the bag, too. I will be bringing a large cooler to keep their lunches in. They have a casual day that day.  No uniforms:>)

    Friday it will be pretty much the same deal.  The only difference will be that they are told what color of shirt they  should wear for the team they are on. I don't know the teams yet.  They will be told next week.

    I would like to thank you, as parents, for being so supportive of me this year: making sure they got their homework back in, reading those books during I Love To Read month and book reports, and practicing the vocabulary words and spelling words.You have some awesome children and I want you to know that they wouldn't be that way without YOU! Thank you for sharing them with me this year.
