Prayer Shawl

The purpose of the Prayer Shawl Ministry is to create handmade shawls that are given to those in need of prayers. Each creator prays before starting the shawl and during its creation. When the shawl is finished, it is blessed before being given to the unknown recipient.

A group of knitters/crocheters meet Monday nights to create and pray together. You do not need to attend to be part of this ministry, but can create the shawls at home.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry is sponsored by the Council of Catholic Women (CCW).
